Module 1 - WBS 3730

So today I managed to get around to thinking Uni work ! Followed by "oh no" how far behind am I. Term started on 30th September, today is 24th October, 12 weeks to complete this Module of 12 tasks ! That's one per week..........................................

So I'm currently about to begin Task 1a and I should be on Task 1d - better get my skates on and catch up pretty fast otherwise it will be Christmas and I'll be so far behind I'll be missing the queens speech for sitting at my laptop typing away ;)

Had a quick read through the handbook and it does make me feel like the rabbit caught in the headlights so I think best way forward is to read a bit at a time and digest the contents and tackle it piece by piece and eventually the jigsaw will come together !

ROL Module completed.......passed it too

So since my first post I have been busy beavering away attempting to wade my way through the ROL module, whilst all the time being very super critical of myself and my writing. Always writing, reading and re-writing when I'm not happy with what I've wrote. Maybe this is a good asset to have whilst attempting a degree or will it drive me insane ?
Anyway I did it ----I reached the end of the module and pressed send (but only when I felt I had done enough) even then though I had to just ask one more time "have I done enough ?" Alan re-assured me he was confident I had and I would have time within this final year to write; re-write; analyse and re-assess and he wasn't far wrong, seen as I've just been reading through Module 1 "Establishing Professional Practise" and I'm already sinking in my chair. But Rome wasn't built in a day so one step at a time I'm telling myself !

Anyone who knows me well will say I'm always up to some sort of challenge. The last 12 weeks of my life have been spent co-ordinating my dance school show which provided all 200 pupils with the opportunity to 'strut their stuff' on the stage last weekend. From the 3 year olds up to the adults, they all had an amazing 2 days of performances to sell out audiences and even though the whole process from beginning to end including choreography, costuming and direction of the production was seated on my shoulders the amazing feedback from students and their families makes it all worthwhile every year.

And so as one challenge ends - another begins, not forgetting ballet exams to prepare older students for; presentation evenings to organise etc. etc.
